RPG List is a searchable database that supports local gaming through free posts, and easy searches. You can post as many events as you want, but to speed up acceptance of a post you must abide by the following rules;
Contact Information: E-mail addresses are preferable, but any information that allows a searcher to directly contact you to discuss the event is acceptable.
Description: The description of the event must be clear, and concise. If you want to target a certain audience you may want to include key words that are directly pertinent to the event, and thus make it easier to find during a search.
Event Name: A short name for the event.
Event Type: Descriptions of different types of events are as follows;
-Campaign: Check here if the event represents continuous gaming that lasts for more than one session. Searches for campaigns can be done by "Search only in Event Type," and "Search by Keywords" with "Campaign."
-Convention: Check here if the event represents a large gathering of varied gaming events that occurs only once during the time specified. Searches for conventions can be done by "Search only in Event Type," and "Search by Keywords" with "Convention."
-Gaming Group: Check here if the event is an officially organized group of people that game on a regular basis. Searches for gaming groups can be done by "Search only in Event Type," and "Search by Keywords" with "Gaming Group."
-Store: Check here if the event is a store at a physical location someone can visit. Internet stores are not accepted as they do not support local gaming, and already have their own means of advertisement. Searches for stores can be done by "Search only in Event Type," and "Search by Keywords" with "Store."
-Session: Check here if the event occurs only once during the time specified. Searches for sessions can be done by "Search only in Event Type," and "Search by Keywords" with "Session."
Location: Physical addresses are required for conventions and stores. For all other events this information is optional, and you may choose to input "NA" here if you don't want to reveal your address.
Time: Time is required for sessions, but is optional for other event types, and you may wish to enter NA if there is no specific time. The event will be deleted if a certain time is input here, and the time has elapsed.
